Dear ICAW Members,
I'm pleased to share a brief update on a highly successful tour held earlier today at D'Awesome K9, graciously hosted by David Graber. The visit was an excellent opportunity to highlight the professionalism and care that define Indiana's responsible canine breeding community.
In attendance were Representatives Dave Hall and Robb Greene, both of whom continue to show a strong interest in supporting our industry and the responsible breeders who are committed to high standards. We were also joined by Ryan Black, representing Governor Braun's HOPE policy initiative, and Dr. Kyle Shipman, who provided valuable insight from a veterinary perspective.
The tour offered a firsthand look at D'Awesome K9's outstanding facilities and practices, showcasing the type of operation that exemplifies best-in-class care and compliance. Attendees asked thoughtful and informed questions, which led to productive discussions around regulatory clarity, industry standards, and the critical role of science-based animal care. This type of engagement is exactly how we continue to educate elected officials and advance our industry in a positive and proactive way.
We are grateful to David for opening his doors and to all who attended for making this event a meaningful step forward in strengthening relationships with key policymakers and the administration. Thank you all who helped made today's tour possible.
Kind Regards,
Quincy Cunningham | Principal
